Pre-training meeting
Before a training programme starts we like to meet as many managers as possible, so that we can present our ideas and invite feedback and comments. This helps us tailor the programme and the courses even more precisely. It also provides us with invaluable insight into your corporate culture.
Pre-course email to delegates
Before every training course, the trainer sends each delegate an email (either through the training organiser or direct), asking them to complete and return a Profile Form detailing their background, experience and specific objectives for the session. This ensures that each course is tailored to individual participants.
To do lists
The trainer and the delegates spend the last half-hour of each course building individual To Do lists. These cover the strengths and weaknesses of each delegate and specific areas to concentrate on. We send these to the training organiser who can then forward them to managers to monitor staff progress following the training.
Reaction forms
At the end of every course, each delegate also completes a Reaction Form which includes their To Do lists. These are then sent back to the training organiser to circulate to the relevant manager.
"We are always pleased with the reports we receive from people attending courses - everyone seems to feel that the courses are constructive, pertinent and enjoyable."

Trainer evaluation
The trainer completes their own Evaluation Form immediately after each session, which comes back to ETC with the Reaction Forms. This outlines their reaction to the group as a whole, along with any other comments. These are forwarded, with the Reaction Forms, to the training organiser.
Feedback
After each course the training organiser, or individual managers, are invited to speak to the trainer to discuss any areas for development or follow-up action on-the-job.
Post-course email to delegates
A month after every course, the trainer sends each delegate an email detailing their To Do List, asking how they are getting on following the session, and seeing if they have any queries they can help them with.
Training review meetings
A meeting with the training organisers and lead trainers to pinpoint any fine-tuning that the programme may need, and assess how the training is being implemented on the job.
"It's great to see that we are giving people really good training opportunities and that they are putting what they have learnt into practice. So, thank you!"
