Shorthand and Typing Training Courses

Shorthand Training

We offer our shorthand course training in Teeline because:

• It is modern and easy to learn
• It is based on the alphabet which speeds up the process
• Users can achieve the same speed levels as Pitman users in a shorter time
• Virtually all University Journalism courses teach Teeline so it should help one person to read another's shorthand

To achieve fluency of 50-70 words per minute usually requires 15 two-hour lessons with our trainer, linked to at least the same amount of practice time between lessons. The ultimate target should be 100 words per minute which will be achieved through usage and practice over a period of time after the tuition.

Type in Two Days Training (2 day course)

Everyone who is frustrated by how long it takes to type an email, letter or report. If you believed that it takes too long to learn to type properly, then this typing course is for you.

The average two finger typist keys in about 15 words a minute. A competent touch typist would easily achieve over 60 words a minute. You could save between 15 and 20 days a year simply by increasing from 15 words to 30 words a minute.
